Villa Sorrento
If you’re wandering around Lewes, Delaware and craving some real Italian comfort food, you’ve got to check out Villa Sorrento. Tucked away at 1551 Savannah Rd Ste 3, this cozy little spot is one of those places that makes you feel like you’ve stepped right into someone’s home in the Italian countryside—just with better parking.
From the moment you walk in, Villa Sorrento wraps you in warmth—soft lighting, rustic charm, and the smell of garlic and fresh basil hanging in the air. It’s not just the ambiance though, the food here is the real showstopper. Their Lobster Ravioli is a total crowd-pleaser—pillowy pasta stuffed with fresh lobster and bathed in a silky cream sauce that’ll make you forget your name for a second. If you're more into classic Italian-American favorites, the Chicken Parmigiana is crispy, cheesy, saucy perfection. It’s exactly what comfort food is supposed to taste like.
Want to start things off light? The Bruschetta is fresh and zesty with just the right crunch, and their Antipasto plate makes it easy to share (or not—no judgment). Whether you're doing a romantic dinner or just grabbing a bite with friends, the menu hits all the right notes.
The vibe is laid-back but still polished—perfect for date night or a family outing. And the staff? Friendly, attentive, and always happy to recommend a wine to match your meal.
Villa Sorrento isn’t just another Italian restaurant—it’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger a little longer. The kind of place that turns dinner into a ritual, where regulars are greeted by name and newcomers are treated like old friends.

A hidden gem with exquisite authentic Italian food. The service is impeccable. And the owner may surprise you with some Italian opera
Amazing, extremely good food. Loved it and will be back. Each trip to Lewes/Rehoboth Beach, my family and I will make sure to stop here.
My wife and I dine here fairly regularly. We have tried most of the Italian restaurants in the area and this is certainly one of the best. Very authentic dishes, like an Italian grandma would make. And Mara is such a sweetheart. She goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome. Highly recommended!
Had dinner there for the first time had Fried Calamari for appetizer very nice, Pizza was good but not great, very close to home and staff was very nice. I will try it again and have a pasta dish.
